Proven strategy
Each program begins with a discovery session where I uncover my student's internal motivations, transforming them from passengers to active drivers toward their own goals. Read more about my methodology

Why Elite Students Choose Me
What sets Learning Company apart from conventional test prep
Authentic Student Connection
Unlike traditional tutors, I bridge the gap between educator and peer mentor. Students do not see me as another authority figure—they see me as someone who recently navigated the exact journey they're on. This authentic connection drives honest conversations about anxiety, motivation, and goals that stuffy, formal tutoring misses entirely. When students trust their coach, transformation accelerates.
Forensic Investigation
After each practice test, I conduct quantitative analysis on not just which questions you missed, but why. Using a proprietary tracking system I've developed, I break down every question by concept types, identify high-impact patterns, and calculate exactly where your study time delivers maximum point gain.
Proven Outcomes
100% of my students have been accepted to at least one of their top-3 universities. My track record with Top-20 admissions speaks for itself.
Subject Expertise
Your tutor achieved a 99%ile score and has guided dozens of students to elite outcomes. I do not just teach the tests; I have mastered them.
Precision-Targeted Homework System
While most tutors assign generic practice problems, my students receive laser-focused assignments matched to their unique performance data. This means that Sarah might practice exponential functions and vertex form while Zach focuses on equation systems and circle graphs—even though they both got a 620 on the Math section. The result is faster improvement and no wasted effort.

Most tutors know their content. I learned that transformative education requires understanding how each student thinks: their cognitive patterns, their motivations, their blocks. My forensic tracking system helps me identify not just what students got wrong, but why—and what will unlock the most points with the least effort. I went from 1980 to 2260 by cracking the system; now I teach students the same forensic approach.
Learning Company accepts a limited number of students per year. This selectivity allows me to deliver the level of personalized attention that produces remarkable outcomes—not just higher scores, but students who discover what they're capable of achieving. Read more

Common Questions
-
Generic tutors correct mistakes. I decode the thinking patterns causing those mistakes.
My methodology combines forensic analysis with Socratic guidance: I track performance across 87 question types to identify high-leverage improvement areas, then use diagnostic questioning (not lecturing) to guide my students to insights themselves. This creates permanent understanding, not temporary memorization.
After each session, I use AI-assisted generation to create fresh problem sets, not textbook exercises, with detailed explanations and difficulty calibrated to my student’s exact level. This precision approach is why students see weekly progress, not monthly. See the breakdown
-
Learning Company students have achieved three measurable outcomes:
Scores: Average improvements of +190 SAT and +5 ACT with measurable progress typically appearing within a few weeks.
Admissions: 100% acceptance rate to students' top-3 choice universities. Recent acceptances: Cornell, Duke, Georgetown, Northwestern, University of Washington.
Academic Scholarships: $2M earned since 2023 with every single student offered at least one.
Beyond metrics, students develop the analytical thinking and intellectual confidence that elite universities select for—skills that compound throughout college and career.
Your specific results depend on starting score, target schools, and commitment. But if you follow the program, you will see measurable progress weekly.
-
My homework system is a key differentiator. After each session, I create personalized problem sets targeting your specific weaknesses.
Unlike generic textbook exercises, these are fresh problems you haven't seen, written with detailed explanations, scaffolded examples, and difficulty calibrated to your exact performance level. This approach is why students see measurable progress weekly, not monthly.
I am happy to provide a sample worksheet upon request.

My approach is especially effective for neurodivergent learners. Students with ADHD, dyslexia, processing disorders, and other learning differences thrive because the methodology adapts to their unique profile. I work extensively with 504 Plans and IEPs, including accommodations testing coordination if needed.
A student with severe ADHD raised his SAT score 470 points using my techniques and protocols.
-
Each session begins with a diagnostic check-in, then adapts based on your student’s performance data—teaching new concepts, drilling strategic problems, or addressing specific roadblocks. After, they receive custom-generated homework (not textbook exercises) with scaffolded explanations calibrated to their level.
-
You will see the data. After every practice test, you get a forensic score report with each missed question parsed by concept and ranked by potential point gain.
Most students show measurable movement within about four weeks. If the numbers stall, you will see it as soon as I do, and we will adjust the plan.
-
Most students show measurable progress within a month. A full program runs 3-9 months at 1-4 sessions per week; where you land depends on your starting score and your target. Gains of 200+ points, or Top-20 admissions goals, usually need the six-to-nine-month runway.
ACT prep follows the same arc. The earlier we start, the more test dates we can target without cramming.
-
Pick the date by which you want your best score (often junior year spring), then subtract the 3-9-month study timeline. That typically lands the ideal start in the summer before junior year. Starting in junior fall works comfortably; waiting until senior year means racing early-application deadlines. Earlier than that leaves more test dates from which to choose.
-
Group classes teach to the middle and assign generic homework. I conduct forensic analysis on your individual performance across 87 question types, then create custom problem sets targeting your exact weaknesses, not textbook exercises that everyone gets.
My students see weekly progress while group students see monthly progress at best. The individualized attention is also why 100% of my students have been accepted to at least one of their top-3 choice universities with $2M in scholarships earned.
-
All sessions are via video call, which is optimal for my data-driven approach. I use real-time screen sharing to annotate problems, display performance analytics, and pull up your student’s tracking dashboard instantly—more efficient than physical materials.
Online also eliminates commute time and allows students across the globe to receive identical instruction quality.
-
I was not a natural test-taker. I scored 1980/2400 on my first SAT. So I spent nine months at a folding table in my parents' basement diagnosing my errors and practicing alternative approaches, improving to 2260 (99%ile).
The breakthrough came when an essay tutor taught me that the test is a game with rules. I went from low 600s to 800 in Writing by learning the formula. That's when I realized elite performance is about understanding the system, not being smarter.
I have since coached 200+ students using that forensic approach, with 100% acceptance to top-3 choices and $2M in scholarships earned. I also earned a $50,000 merit scholarship myself and audited Harvard coursework.
I accept limited students per year so that I can give each one the same obsessive attention I gave myself: forensic analysis, custom homework, weekly progress.
-
The methodology does not scale. Each student gets a custom worksheet after every session, a forensic score report after every practice test, and instruction adapted to their live performance data. That analysis takes hours per student per week, so I cap the roster to protect it.
Most companies increase capacity by hiring more tutors and standardizing the product. I would rather keep the product and limit the seats. See current availability here.
-
I work with students regardless of curriculum; international students from IB, British, American, and national systems take the SAT and ACT for US and overseas admissions. Every session runs live over video, and I schedule flexibly across time zones.
My students have logged in from Bogotá, Lima, and Istanbul. See how Martín got accepted to Duke and Northwestern.
-
Learning Company operates out of Washington DC and every session runs live over video, so I work with students across the DC metro and worldwide from Boston to Bogotá. Every student gets the same analysis, attention, and customized materials.
-
Take official practice tests of both and compare percentile scores. Your higher percentile indicates your target test. Relevant factors:
Strong at math? Lean SAT (½ math vs. ACT's ¼)
Think deeply vs. process quickly? SAT rewards analytical depth; ACT rewards speed
Complex problems vs. broader content? SAT has fewer, harder questions; ACT covers more topics with tighter time limits
During our initial phase, I administer both tests and identify which aligns with your cognitive patterns. Then I build a personalized study plan targeting your highest-leverage gains.
Don't guess. Test both and let the data decide.
-
Learning Company students have seen success with an investment as low as $2000, with some families spending $7000. All have left the program with more competitive scores. The exact amount will depend on your starting score, goals, and time commitment.
-
We talk through your student's goals, timeline, and target schools; review existing scores or plan the first diagnostic; and explore how the methodology applies to your student's gaps. We both leave knowing whether this is the right fit. Book a time directly on my calendar.
